Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes is the type of singer-songwriter that only shows up every couple of decades; he’s got the lyrics of a Bob Dylan, the distinctive sound of a Neil Young, and the messages that resonate with this generation. He’s captured our eyes and minds, but always pushes the envelope in his newest albums.
